The Role of Junior Doctor

In rehabilitation medicine, we work with individuals of working age who have suffered brain injuries, chronic pain, spinal cord injuries, or other injuries/illnesses such as amputations, multi-trauma, post-polio that require coordinated specialized rehabilitation.

Together with colleagues in a multiprofessional team, you will work person-centered for patients with complex rehabilitation needs, which provides opportunities for learning between professions. Teamwork provides inspiration and motivation with the opportunity to utilize the person's own resources, focusing on their needs.

You will work daytime Monday to Friday in our department, which consists of 12 places, and you will have no on-call duties.

Your Future Workplace

The Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic is a regional operation. In Jönköping, rehabilitation is provided for patients in need of full-day rehabilitation or day rehabilitation. In Värnamo and Nässjö, there is day rehabilitation, and in Nässjö, there is also insurance medical services. Organizationally, the Rehabilitation Medicine Clinic belongs to the area of Psychiatry, Rehabilitation, and Diagnostics in Region Jönköping County. Read more about our operations here.

Since 2006, the clinic has been accredited by the American organization CARF, which means that the clinic is continuously quality reviewed. The clinic constantly strives to stay at the forefront, maintain high quality, and actively improve operations. Development occurs transprofessionally and in collaboration with others such as primary care, municipalities, patients, relatives, and patient associations.

Your Profile

To be considered for the role, you must be a trained doctor, either licensed or not. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability in the selection for this role.
