The Role of a Resident Physician

You will work as a resident physician in the geriatric outpatient clinic and GAVA, focusing on geriatric patients. You will also serve in the emergency department with regular on-call duties. Additionally, you will work closely with other specialists to ensure a holistic approach to care, from diagnostics and treatment to rehabilitation and preventive measures. Therefore, you will gain a broad and stimulating experience.

Currently, we have 13 resident physicians, 4 soon-to-be specialists, and 21 specialist physicians working together with approximately 220 staff members in the department. Together with this wonderful team, you will make a difference!

You will receive a permanent full-time position with a start date according to agreement.

Our three care units, outpatient clinic, day care, and dialysis handle everything from stroke care to endocrinology, gastroenterology, geriatrics, hematology, cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, and nephrology – a broad spectrum of specialties that makes each day both developing and rewarding. Your Profile

As we cannot offer integrated BT in this residency position, we are looking for candidates with one of the following backgrounds:

• Swedish medical license or at the end of your general training (AT)
• Swedish medical license with 1 year of documented basic training (BT)
