The Service Center is part of the municipal executive administration and the unit for Central Support and Services, where many different functions and broad expertise are gathered. Here you will find municipal guidance, municipal archives, a central diary, as well as mail and copying services. Together with other units in the administration, we ensure that all municipal functions are coordinated, developed, and followed up based on overarching political decisions.

Job Responsibilities

As a municipal guide in Hudiksvall, you will work in a team providing advice, guidance, external service, and internal service. The goal is to ensure that more people receive the right help at the first point of contact without needing to know how the municipality is organized. Your tasks as a municipal guide will be very varied; one moment you will inform about waste issues, home care, or how to apply for a building permit, and the next moment you will distribute bus passes to students and receive applications for civil ceremonies.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who enjoys providing service both over the phone, at the counter, and through digital channels. You are attentive and accommodating in your interactions and have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others. You possess good teamwork skills and can quickly learn new areas. You take responsibility for your tasks and develop the operations together with your team. You are well-informed and interested in societal issues.

To thrive with us, you need to enjoy working in an environment with constant changes and a fast pace. You are stable and composed, even when things get hectic. You are driven by the desire to help develop the municipality's operations by viewing criticism and feedback as suggestions for improvement rather than complaints.

• Experience in service work is required
• High proficiency in IT and information retrieval is required
• Good communication skills and very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, are required. Additional language skills are a plus
• Experience in municipal operations is an advantage
• In addition to requirements and merits, personal suitability will be considered
