Healthcare Assistant at the Emergency Department

At our Emergency Department, you will have a varied job where you meet people in their most acute situations and contribute to safety and support when it is needed the most.

You will be part of a close-knit team consisting of doctors, nurses, healthcare assistants, and medical secretaries. As a healthcare assistant with us, you will develop your skills by working with a wide variety of illnesses, diagnoses, and care interventions, which gives you great opportunities to grow and develop in your professional role. You are the person who meets the patient when they arrive at the department, is available to answer questions, and helps the patient feel calm and secure. Your tasks include checks, sample collections, and assisting doctors with various procedures, such as suturing.

We are open around the clock, every day of the year, so you have the opportunity for a wide variety of working hours. The position is 75%, with the possibility to work up to 100% according to internal procedures if desired.

About You

We are looking for someone who is a trained healthcare assistant; experience in emergency care is an advantage. You have a genuine interest in people and the ability to create safety and calm for patients. You communicate clearly, can work independently, and make your own decisions when the situation requires it. Collaboration is central, both within the team and with other clinics. A positive attitude towards patients, relatives, and colleagues is a given for you. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement. Personal suitability is highly valued.
