JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Come and work in a rewarding, developing, and fun job, together with our wonderful team in Kalmar Municipality's care and support housing. We are currently looking for nursing assistants and specialist nursing assistants for our care and support housing and pool operations. The care and support housing looking for nursing assistants and specialist nursing assistants are Stensberg, Jungmansgården, and Backsippevägen (Ljungbyhemmet).

You will be an extended arm for the elderly and have the opportunity to help where it is truly needed; no day is the same! Together with the care recipient, you will participate in activities, both individually and in groups. Through a process-oriented working method, we create clear structures and flows in our operations with the care recipient in focus. Here, we build our operations on a cross-professional approach as we want you to be involved and influence. In the role of nursing assistant within care and support housing, tasks include planning support, care, and service. You will work with a fixed care contact, which means establishing and working based on implementation plans. In the assignment, you should be able to perform delegated health and medical care tasks.

As a nursing assistant in the pool operations, the above job responsibilities apply, as well as covering the absence of regular staff and temporary work peaks in care and support housing. You will have a schedule where working hours are locked to day and evening, but your workplace may vary from one day to another.

Quality work is a central part of our work, which means we create value for the care recipient by systematically working with continuous improvements and learning in the workplace. As a role model, you have a health-promoting approach and are proactive in your daily work. You support colleagues in utilizing the resources of the individual and their representatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant with certification from the National Board of Health and Welfare. It is an advantage if you have work experience in elderly care and extended delegation.

You have good communication skills, are easy to collaborate with, and can build good relationships, as a large part of the work involves creating security and contact with our care recipients, their relatives, and other professionals. You are positive, responsible, and have the ability to adapt to new circumstances. We also value a good ability to listen to the care recipient's needs and communicate that to colleagues in your team.

We are in a digitalization development phase, which requires good computer skills in various systems and a willingness to drive innovative development work.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

A driver's license and access to a car are required for pool operations and otherwise advantageous.

To be considered for a position within the care administration in Kalmar Municipality, a criminal record extract from the police must be presented. On the police's website https://polisen.se/ (https://polisen.se/), you can select a record extract for work at HVB homes.
