We are in an exciting development phase where we are transitioning our operations from temporary doctors to permanent doctors, which will lead to greater teamwork around our patients.

We are a small health center with a strong sense of community where you have the opportunity to influence both your own and the organization’s development. Here, you will also have the chance to develop your skills in areas that strengthen the organization.

With us, you will have varied tasks in the form of district nurse consultations, telephone and digital advice, triage, and specialist consultations. Supervision of students and collaboration with other healthcare and social care providers are also included. You will be part of a nursing group of about seven people. The position may involve shifts at the Primary Care weekend-open health center in Västervik.

About you

To thrive in this role, you need to naturally take responsibility for and develop your own area and our operations. You should be able to see both details and the big picture. Providing good service to both colleagues and patients is something we highly value. You should be able to work well with others and be communicative while also having the ability to work independently. We appreciate if you enjoy challenges and actively work to improve and streamline your work and area of responsibility.

You are a licensed nurse, preferably with a district nurse qualification. Experience or training in diabetes care is an additional asset. Good computer skills and proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, are required. Experience with the Cosmic journal system and healthcare advice is advantageous, as well as previous experience in primary care.

Your future workplace

Gamleby health center, with about 6200 registered patients, is a small workplace with fast communication, short decision-making paths, and strong local engagement. For the past 1.5 years, we have been located in our newly built health center with adapted and nice facilities. We also have a branch in Överum that we staff a couple of days a week.

Our goal is to be an attractive workplace and a health center that offers residents effective and patient-safe close care with high quality. We are about twenty employees who together create this through collaboration, communication, and taking responsibility.
