Our Operations

The Department of Medicine consists of outpatient care as well as emergency and planned inpatient care, focusing on the following processes: heart failure, heart attack, stroke, diabetes, and infections. Additionally, outpatient care is provided for gastrointestinal and liver diseases. The department also includes a dermatology clinic operated in collaboration with the Academic Hospital. The operations are organized into two medical wards, a medical clinic, a rehabilitation unit, hospital-connected home care, and physicians within the department.

Your Mission

Common tasks for junior doctors in the emergency department and on the medical ward. The work is independent but with guidance from senior colleagues and on-call support. On-call duties are included in the position.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed physician with experience in the profession. On-call experience is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Your Competence

As an applicant, you should be proactive and able to initiate and drive processes in a structured way that yields results. Additionally, we see that you are flexible and can easily adapt to changing circumstances, but also have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work as you will be working in our emergency department. Therefore, we appreciate that you can work well with others, are attentive, express a positive attitude, and make correct assessments and priorities.

We Offer

We offer a fixed-term employment for 6 months with the possibility of extension, full-time. There is an opportunity to offer ST training in internal medicine. Start date by agreement. As a licensed junior doctor with us, you will receive an experienced supervisor, one week of external training planned together with your supervisor, and the opportunity to participate in ST training every week during the autumn and spring semesters. We also facilitate contact with various housing associations if needed.
