Our Operations
The Palliative Consultation Team (PKT) has an overarching mission to provide consultative support throughout the entire palliative care process, regardless of the patient's age or diagnosis. We cater to providers and caregivers within general and specialized palliative care in Uppsala County's operations. PKT consists of nurses and doctors with extensive experience in specialized palliative care. We are now looking for another nurse to join our team.
Your Mission
The mission includes, among other things, telephone advice, support for staff in various care forms, care level assessments, palliative rounds, education, lectures, and clinical service in one of the palliative center's other operations, covering about 10% of your working time. Since May 2023, there has been a decision for the palliative center to become a competence center, and we view positively if you have experience in shaping and developing competence centers.
Your Qualifications
You are a licensed nurse with at least 4 years of experience in specialized palliative care. It is an advantage if you have further education in palliative care. You are structured and communicative and express yourself well in speech and writing. You have no problem standing and speaking in front of an audience and enjoy teaching as well as working in a team. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. A driver's license (B) is required, and you should have basic knowledge of the Office suite.
Your Competence
We see that you have good collaboration skills and that you view teamwork as a natural part of the job. You easily adapt to changing circumstances and are solution-focused. Finally, you are also meticulous, follow up, and strive to meet quality goals.
We Offer
We offer a permanent position at 100%, daytime. Individual onboarding. Application of a 6-month probation period applies. With us, you will receive benefits that make a difference; read about the benefits here (https://regionuppsala.se/jobba-hos-oss/bli-var-nya-kollega/formaner/).
