We are looking for a licensed nurse interested in primary care work. Here at Gottsunda Health Center, we are now offering a 100% temporary position for one year with good opportunities for extension. Start date according to agreement.

Your Assignment

Your assignment as a nurse will involve varied work. This includes assessing and helping patients in telephone counseling as well as in direct meetings in scheduled clinics, minor emergency care, and home visits.

You will collaborate closely with other professionals at the health center, such as district nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, and psychologists. We actively work to improve patient flows through triaging and booking for all professions, and you will be a natural part of this development work. If you also enjoy taking responsibility for smaller or larger improvement projects, that is a plus!

There is an opportunity for some remote work.

Your Competence

We are looking for a licensed nurse; experience in primary care or telephone counseling is an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have in-depth knowledge in minor emergency care, diabetes, or Cosmic Link.

As a person, you are good at planning, organizing, and prioritizing work effectively, and to be successful in the role, you need to be flexible in your working methods. The work requires good collaboration skills and you should enjoy working in a team, but also have the ability to work independently. We place great importance on personal qualities.

Our Operations

Gottsunda Health Center is part of the Near Care and Health administration and is located in newly built premises in Gottsunda center, in the southwestern part of Uppsala. We have about 14,000 registered patients and approximately 70 employees. Our operations are broad and all professional areas within the health center's mission are represented; general practitioner clinic, nursing homes, child health care, maternity care, family center, and youth clinic. Many of our patients come from other countries and cultures, which we believe makes working here particularly varied and interesting. The health center values accessibility, long-term commitment, and continuity. We have good collaboration between professions and help each other in everyday tasks, big and small.
