Our IT department is responsible for all IT used within the Police Authority. We are now looking for a requirements analyst for the Analysis Support Systems group who wants to help create business value within Business Intelligence (BI).
The main task of the IT department is to provide IT services to the entire Police Authority. The IT department is an important part of crime prevention and law enforcement work, and IT is one of the most important tools to streamline the police and improve the quality of police work. The IT department develops and modernizes the police's IT, and the authority invests heavily in strengthening the department with new specialist skills and the latest technology for the benefit of citizens and employees in the police operations.
Common police systems are responsible for providing common IT capabilities and IT support used in several police areas such as data analysis systems, data refinement, and GIS (geographic information systems). Common police systems are also responsible for the operation and lifecycle management of the police's integration platform, as well as for developing and managing applications/base systems and services that support operational, investigative, intelligence, forensic, and administrative systems with information or functionality. Common police systems are also responsible for developing mobile solutions for police operations.
Job Description
Our task in the Analysis Support Systems group is to take overall responsibility for the development, management, and support of the police's BI platform. This is to meet the Police's need for follow-up of business analysis and operational support.
In your new role as a requirements analyst you will work on exciting assignments with several stakeholders from different parts of the organization. You will participate in various forums and workshops to transform, map, and document the organization's needs into realizable requirements for our applications on the platform.
In your daily work, you will work in an agile environment where the work climate is characterized by high engagement and drive. You will contribute by participating in both development and management where you translate business needs into applicable system solutions and developable requirements.
Qualifications
This is an opportunity for you who have:
- Post-secondary education in IT, or equivalent acquired experience that the employer deems relevant.
- Several years of work experience leading requirements work in a complex environment with many different stakeholders.
- Very good knowledge of Swedish.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Swedish citizenship.
It is advantageous if you have:
- Experience in Business Intelligence, preferably within Qlik Sense.
- Experience in testing work.
- Experience in leading workshops.
- Experience in supporting a development organization.

Other information
Employment type: Permanent employment, 6 months probationary period.
Work location: Stockholm.
Working hours: Trust-based working hours according to individual agreement.
Start date: By agreement.
