Business Developer – Thermo & Distribution (GLC - Gothenburg Truck Central)

About the role

As a business developer at Thermo & Distribution, you drive business relationships and sales in deliveries where quality and precision are crucial. You develop business with some new but primarily existing customers, create proposals and terms, and establish a common understanding between the customer, transport management, and owners/drivers to ensure the business is sustainable in reality.

This is a role for you who can switch between different perspectives:

· Customer perspective: premium, forward development, innovation, and security. It should be easy to do the right thing.

· Internal perspective: clarity, responsibility, and collaboration that strengthen our delivery muscle and make it meaningful to be part of the orange team.

Your mission

· Drive upselling and new sales while developing customer relationships towards long-term partnerships.

· Develop complex business proposals: quotes, pricing, terms, and agreements.

· Create structure in collaborations and separate but sync what is most important for the customer, owners, and transport management.

· Identify opportunities and risks early and shape proposals that create premium value for the customer while being feasible in operations over time.

· Be a reliable mediator/negotiate who takes concerns seriously while leading towards a common solution.

We are looking for someone who has:

Experience and skills

· Documented B2B sales/business development in an industry with complex delivery (logistics, transport, service, temperature-critical flows, or similar)

· Good business economics: pricing, calculation/consequence thinking, and profitability logic.

· Strong negotiation and mediation skills – you can gather multiple stakeholders towards a common focus.

· Ability to communicate different messages to different target groups: premium and future externally, concrete and solution-oriented internally.

· Relationship strength: you build trust with customers, transport management, and owners.

· Solution focus: you look for ways forward without ignoring limitations.

· Team player: together with colleagues, owners, and drivers, we create new opportunities on our way to the future.

Language & digital working method

You communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. You thrive in a data-driven working method and are comfortable with CRM and follow-up. You use information to create clear proposals and better business.
