Your Responsibilities
To secure the competence of future engineers, we conduct this trainee program over 12 months. The trainee program means that you will have the opportunity to alternate between education and practical work within the engineering departments: Development & Standards or Order Design. You will receive in-depth training in the various systems you will work with, as well as an overall understanding of Siemens Energy's organization, processes, and working methods, etc. You will work with people from all over the world and have the opportunity to develop and deepen your interest in technology. You will be employed by Skill and belong to a Siemens Energy Hub with other trainees. When the trainee program ends, you may be offered to continue working in the regular operations. The program starts in late summer/autumn 2026.
Examples of tasks:
Work with the design of electrical constructions and systems such as generators, generator protection, low-voltage systems, servo drives, frequency converters, generator protection, medium-voltage equipment, cabinets, junction boxes, cables, etc.
Work in development or order projects
Prepare technical documentation such as circuit diagrams, layouts, etc.
Solve operational problems and fault reports
Conduct technical investigations (calculations, standards issues, etc.)
Work with design systems such as COMOS, etc.
Your Profile
You will graduate with a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or electronics design by summer 2026
You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
You have an aptitude and interest in problem-solving, see the big picture and patterns, and have analytical skills
You are innovative and thrive in a developing environment where we work on creating new products and solutions
Personal qualities that we highly value for you as a trainee include good collaboration skills, being driven, having good problem-solving abilities, as well as being responsible and flexible.
