The Central Operation, which is part of the Anesthesia Clinic, operates at Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna. We operate patients from all clinics where quality is always prioritized – both medically and in terms of care. The core business is surgical care with associated sterilization operations, and we collaborate closely with the other units of the Anesthesia Clinic, which include recovery care and intensive care. We offer onboarding and continuous training to ensure you feel secure and develop in your role.

Your tasks

As a nursing assistant at Central Operation Mälarsjukhuset, you will work in collaboration with the surgical nurse and anesthetic nurse to prepare for surgery. You will set up for the patient in the operating room, and during the operation, you will assist with various tasks related to the patient. Our goal is a high level of knowledge to ensure good and safe care. We place great importance on teamwork and utilize the breadth of knowledge and experience we collectively have. Together with you, we want to create value for our patients.

Your qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a certified nursing assistant education with a focus on acute care. In addition to your grades as a nursing assistant, you need a certificate of your professional qualification as a nursing assistant from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate stating that you were permanently employed as a nursing assistant on July 1, 2023. Previous experience working in an operating department is an advantage.

As a person, you enjoy working with people. You have a strong sense of responsibility and the ability to be flexible. You follow routines and work methods and actively participate in developing care. In your interactions with both patients and colleagues, you have an open, professional, and empathetic approach.
