About us

At the orthopedic department of Mälarsjukhuset in Eskilstuna, we are a team of about 45 people with a strong interest in orthopedic care and teamwork with the patient in focus. We care for patients with diseases of the musculoskeletal system and provide both acute and planned care. We are a clinic that has a vision to work with good quality and to ensure that employees enjoy their work.

The ward is divided into three care teams, two of which handle acute patients and one that deals with elective surgery. The teams consist of several professions working closely together. As a nursing assistant, you will collaborate with nurses, doctors, medical secretaries, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and coordinators. The social community among professionals is important, and we value this to achieve effective teamwork. With us, you will gain a wide range of knowledge areas and also have the opportunity to take responsibility and develop in the area that interests you.

Your responsibilities

• Care and nursing of patients
• Standard nursing assistant tasks in an acute care ward.

Your qualifications

We are looking for a nursing assistant who is interested and motivated to work in orthopedic healthcare. You have good self-awareness and teamwork skills, as well as a desire to develop both yourself and the organization. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.

You are a trained nursing assistant. In addition to your grades as a nursing assistant, you need a certificate of your professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate showing that you were permanently employed as a nursing assistant on 1/7 2023. Good knowledge of speaking, writing, and understanding the Swedish language is required. Experience working in a care ward is an advantage.
