Physiotherapist Position within the Health and Care Administration

The position is located within the Health and Care Administration, one of eight administrations in Linköping Municipality. The Health and Care Administration is responsible for the municipality's elderly care, health care, authority exercise, ordering services, and provides care and support in its own right. Your Responsibilities

As part of our commitment to providing high-quality care and support, we are now seeking six physiotherapists for temporary positions within the Health and Care Administration's health care organization.

As a physiotherapist, you will take on a central role focusing on enabling individual independence. Your responsibilities include assessments, personal assistive device prescriptions, and rehabilitation, as well as collaboration in multiprofessional teams. You will work either with patients in home rehabilitation or in nursing homes.

The work consists of varied tasks and patient groups, providing opportunities for diversity and challenges in your work. The job also includes documentation and administration.

Your Workplace

The temporary position runs from 2026-06-08 to 2026-08-14, with daytime work, Monday to Friday. Your workplace will be located at Ålerydsvägen 7 in Linköping. Here you will have the opportunity to not only perform meaningful work but also to be an active part of a larger team that promotes knowledge exchange and development.

Physiotherapists within the Health and Care Administration work in health care and are active in both open care forms and nursing homes. Our primary mission is to offer the municipality's citizens quality-assured care in the rehabilitation field. In our operations, various professionals work together, such as nurses, nursing assistants with different specialist training, occupational therapists, and other physiotherapists.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist or are about to become one. Previous experience as a physiotherapist or in health and care is an advantage.

The work involves a lot of patient contact and documentation, which means we require you to communicate verbally and in writing in Swedish. You should be computer literate and preferably have experience documenting in journal systems. You need to be able to cycle and also have a B driver's license for manual transmission, as cycling/driving is part of the job.

We are looking for someone who is proactive in their work and can plan and prioritize their tasks independently. You have a flexible working style and can adapt based on the needs and changes of the organization. In your interactions with patients and colleagues, you are solution-focused and attentive, maintaining a professional approach. You find it easy to collaborate with others but can also take your own initiatives and be involved in the development of the organization.
