About the position

The role of environmental caretaker is part of our Environmental Care Program and is a fixed-term employment for up to 18 months. In this role, you will be part of a team primarily working with supervision and cleaning in and around the properties. This means that you and your team are responsible for keeping the common areas tidy and clean. The role requires you to be social and service-oriented to maintain good relationships with tenants, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Your tasks will include:

• Outdoor maintenance and cleaning of courtyard environments
• Taking care of the property's common areas such as waste management, stairwells, basements, and laundry rooms
• Supervision in and around the properties - ensuring cleanliness and tidiness
• Simple repairs of items such as seating areas, playgrounds, and garage and parking spaces

Your profile

To be considered for the position, you must have a valid driver's license (B) and we prefer that you reside with us at Victoriahem. As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and self-sufficient in your daily work. You are good at building positive relationships, enjoy being outdoors, and are comfortable with occasionally physically demanding work. Experience and/or education in the field is an advantage, but not a requirement. In this position, we highly value personality, motivation, and drive.
