Instructor for Labor Market Education in Västerås

The training is developed in collaboration with the Public Employment Service and provides participants with sought-after skills in vehicle damage repair – an industry with high demand for labor.

About the Position

As an instructor, you are responsible for planning, conducting, and following up on the teaching together with your colleagues. You guide the participants both practically and theoretically in areas such as:

• planning and performing service and repair work on vehicles according to the manufacturer's instructions, while considering relevant regulations and current safety and work environment requirements.
• selecting and using relevant tools and methods for servicing and repairing the vehicle's chassis, drivetrain, suspension, brakes, and electrical systems.
• communicating service and repair work with customers, managing reporting and follow-up systems, and using instructions and guidelines in both Swedish and English during service and repair work.

You teach both in groups and individually, adapting the training according to the participants' needs and conditions.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has at least 5 years of documented professional experience in vehicle mechanics with heavy vehicles (trucks, buses, machinery).
• Enjoys a pedagogical role and likes to help others develop.
• Is confident in leading groups and planning educational activities.
• Has good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Has a B driver's license.

It is a plus if you have previously worked as a supervisor, team leader, or instructor – but the most important thing is that you want to share your knowledge.
