Maintenance Electrician at Mälarenergi

Are you an experienced industrial or maintenance electrician ready for new challenges? We are now looking for two maintenance electricians to join our team.

Your Role

As a maintenance electrician with us, you will work with both preventive and corrective maintenance of our combined heat and power plants.

You will:

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in an industrial environment
• Work with electrical machines, frequency converters, and control systems (PLC)
• Participate in planning and execution of maintenance work
• Conduct risk analyses and quality assurance
• Be responsible for documentation in our maintenance system (IFS)
• Be part of our emergency organization (approximately every 6 weeks)

The work is varied – from short interventions to longer projects – and you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in an area that spans from older technology to modern automation.

We Are Looking for You

Who has:

• Education in electrical engineering (high school or equivalent)
• Experience as an industrial electrician and working with electrical maintenance
• Basic knowledge of PLC and troubleshooting
• Swedish language skills in speech and writing
• Driving license (B)

Meritorious:

• Experience with high voltage
• Knowledge of ABB 800xA, frequency converters, and AUMA actuators
• ESA training or equivalent
