At Stena Recycling, we are looking for Production Workers in metal sorting for our recycling facility. In this role, you will work practically to sort, process, and prepare metal materials for recycling according to established routines and safety requirements. You will be part of a dedicated team where sustainability, safety, and quality are prioritized.

As a production worker in metal sorting, you will perform various tasks in the production flow. The work requires precision, good organization, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues and production leaders to ensure efficient processes and high quality.

• Sorting and classifying different metals and materials according to instructions

• Manual and mechanical handling of goods, including loading and unloading

• Perform quality controls and documentation according to applicable routines

• Monitoring operations and basic supervision of sorting equipment

• Participation in the maintenance of the sorting line and basic cleaning tasks

• Report deviations and contribute to improvement work to optimize workflows

• Follow the company's routines for work environment, health, safety, and quality

• Previous experience in recycling, production, or similar industrial work is an advantage

• Familiarity with handling metal materials and basic material knowledge is a plus

• Experience with forklift driving, overhead crane, scissor lift, or other relevant certifications is an advantage

• Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

• Driver's license class B is a requirement

• Flexible and helpful in a changing workflow

• Good teamwork skills and a positive attitude

• Ability to work both independently and in a team

• Fixed-term employment, 6 months

• Location: Hallstahammar

• Working hours: Daytime Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:30 and Fridays 07:00-14:00
