About the Role

This is a brand new position, specifically created to develop Saab's new electronics handbook. As a coordinating technical editor, you will have a clear mission: to lead, structure, and drive the creation of a completely new group-wide handbook that will collect, clarify, and standardize all electronics-related development within Saab. You will work across multiple locations and gather knowledge from engineers, specialists, and development teams throughout the organization. The role begins by mapping how work is currently conducted – what rules are used, how documentation looks, and where the information actually resides.

This means you will consolidate and clarify rules in areas such as EMC, PCB layout, CAD principles, power sizing, and grounding, while also analyzing existing internal examples and highlighting what works best. You will propose formats, structures, and access solutions that make it easy for colleagues to find and use the right information. The role requires both independence and curiosity – you need to be able to find the right people, ask the right questions, and create order in a complex and varied environment.

As a person, you need to be independent and analytical to take on a role that does not currently exist. You should enjoy talking to others and have a good ability to gather and compile information.

We are looking for someone with…

• Experience in technical documentation, such as having worked as a technical writer or electrical designer
• Technical understanding (no electrical background required)
• At least 1 year of work experience in a relevant field
• The ability to travel for work

For this position, you must undergo and be approved according to applicable security protection regulations, which may require a certain citizenship.

Preferred qualifications for the position include:

• Organizing work meetings (both digital and physical)
• Easy to connect with people and achieve results together
• Experience with information systems on digital platforms
