The child and youth authority is divided into three units: children and youth 1 (0–9 years), children and youth 2 (10–14 years), and children and youth 3 (15–20 years).

Your tasks
As a lawyer at the social office, you are a key person in our work. You lead the legal work within the child and youth authority and ensure that our decisions are legally secure. Your tasks include:
- Representation in administrative court, administrative court of appeal, and district court
- Legal support and advice to social workers and managers
- Responsibility for training initiatives within your area
- Monitoring and relationship building both within and outside the municipality
This is a role for you who want to combine legal expertise with social benefit and who enjoys working closely with the operations.
Who are you?
We are looking for you who are a lawyer with a law degree and have experience representing in court.
You have good knowledge of the Social Services Act, the Administrative Procedure Act, the Local Government Act, the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, as well as LVU and LVM.
Experience of legal work within the social services area is advantageous.
As a person, you are collaborative, flexible, and responsible. You have the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize your work.
You are calm, reliable, and persistent in your work, where you see opportunities instead of setbacks.
At the same time, you are a person who takes initiative and meets deadlines. You have strong legal judgment and express yourself well in both speech and writing.
A B driver's license is required for the position, as longer trips may occur. We place importance on your personality and your commitment to children's rights issues.
