Our Business

Norrköping Airport (NRK) offers several destinations and has been owned by Norrköping Municipality since 2006. The airport also hosts various aviation-related businesses. We strive for an airport that is accessible to more people and is used for both flights and the development of future aviation. Together, we employ around 150 people associated with the airport. For us, safety is always the highest priority over commercial, operational, environmental, and social aspects, permeating the entire airport's operations and preventive work.

Your Responsibilities

As a Marketing Coordinator, you will have overall operational responsibility for marketing and communication at Norrköping Airport. You will ensure that our marketing and communication strategy is followed and implemented in practice, and serve as an important link between the CEO, management team, and the operations at the airport. You are the CEO's and management team's extended arm into the organization – and the airport's voice into the management team.

Together with the CEO and management team, you will plan, coordinate, and execute marketing activities that strengthen Norrköping Airport's brand and business. This includes ongoing marketing communication as well as campaigns, launches, and events, fairs, customer events, and seminars. You will participate in relevant networks where you represent the airport and identify new business and collaboration opportunities.

You will work closely with the management team to ensure that marketing activities support the overall strategy. You will be responsible for follow-up, analysis, and evaluation of completed efforts and suggest improvements and further development.

Your role includes clear responsibility for Norrköping Airport's digital channels, such as the website and social media. You will be responsible for content planning, publishing, and follow-up, as well as ensuring that the content strategy for all channels is followed and adjusted as needed.

Your work will also involve analyzing market trends, developing campaigns, identifying new business opportunities, and being responsible for budgeting, reporting, and follow-up of marketing activities. At events and activities, you will be responsible for planning, logistics, bookings, as well as budget and resources.

Through your work, you will inspire and inform our target groups, contribute to increased profitability, and strengthen Norrköping Airport's brand.

Who Are You?

You have completed your high school education, and we prefer that you have some post-secondary education in marketing and communication or another education that the employer deems relevant. We see that you have experience and a background from working in environments such as airports, fairs, or center operations or similar businesses. You have likely worked in an operational role with project management and coordination of events and other marketing activities, focusing on attracting more visitors and increasing customer satisfaction. A network within the business and aviation industry is a plus.

From previous roles, you are used to working independently under significant personal responsibility, and you are meticulous while being confident in your delivery.

You are curious about new technology and enjoy testing new tools that can make the job smarter. Structure and responsibility come naturally to you, but you combine this with creativity, joy, and a desire to develop. Above all, you are a helpful team player who is happy to support colleagues with other tasks when needed, contributing energy and solutions – and who believes that marketing should be as fun as it is effective!

You have several years of experience in independent work with social media, basic graphic production, and experience with web publishing systems. You have a good ability to create engaging content in images, videos, and texts for social media.

You feel comfortable and confident speaking on stage in front of larger groups of people and handling media contacts.

You have strong communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

The position is classified in a security class, which means that employment will be preceded by a security review under the Security Protection Act.
