Woody in Habo is now looking for a dynamic sales representative in building materials who is eager to further develop the business of heavy building materials – with a focus on long-term relationships, quality, and personal advice.

Since the 1970s, a building supply store has been located on Snickaregatan. Today, Habo Järn & Bygg is a privately owned building materials company that is part of the Woody Bygghandel chain. 17 dedicated employees strive every day to provide every customer, DIY enthusiast, and professional with the comprehensive service they deserve.

The Challenge

In this forward-looking role, you will be responsible for selling heavy building materials such as windows, drywall, and lumber. You enjoy operational work in the store where you are both present and advisory. At the same time, you are not afraid of proactive sales work – you have the drive and persistence to systematically book meetings with various companies and construction sites.

With a solution-oriented approach, you operate where it matters and create added value for both the brand and people.

Your main responsibilities

  • Sales of building materials

  • Advisory and service

  • Maintain and further develop existing customer relationships

  • Active acquisition of new customers

  • Order management and work with quotes

To succeed in this role, we prefer that you have a strong interest in the construction industry and relevant experience from a related field.

Your qualifications

  • Genuine interest in the industry

  • Relevant product knowledge

  • Previous experience in writing quotes

  • Experience in business development or new customer acquisition
