We are now looking for nursing assistants for respite care/short-term care in the city of Malmö. Working in the resource group means that you are available for work at our 3 short-term facilities Mathildenborg, Söderkulla, KRA, as well as our respite care.

Respite care means relieving relatives by having users stay in respite care for 1 or 2 weeks and then being at home for 3 or 4 weeks. In the short-term unit, individuals temporarily needing care or rehabilitation after illness or injury stay. Both of these services require high flexibility as users change every day. Working hours are during the day or evening.

Job Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant in the resource group, you work based on a rehabilitative approach. The work includes personal care, cooking, cleaning, laundry, social interaction, and medical interventions performed under the delegation of a nurse.

The work also includes documenting events concerning the residents according to the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act. You also play an active role in planning, team, and quality work.

Qualifications

  • Trained nursing assistant with approved grades
  • Experience in care and nursing
  • Good computer skills
  • Communicates fluently in Swedish both verbally and in writing

It is an advantage if you have experience working in short-term/respite care. If you have worked in dementia and/or psychiatry, that is also an advantage.
