Your Mission

In the role of care assistant at Solhällan, you will provide our clients with good service, care, and support based on each individual's needs and wishes. We utilize the client's strengths and abilities to maintain them as a priority. Motivating and stimulating the client towards participation and independence is important. We work with an active contact person system where you have a great responsibility to provide the client with what they need. An important part of the contact person system is also to collaborate with relatives to strive together to create a special touch in life and provide care of the highest quality. The work also includes medical care and documentation in the Lifecare journal system.

At Solhällan, we work according to a schedule both day, evening, and every other weekend.

Your Experience

To be considered for the position of care assistant with us, we see that you:

• are a trained care assistant with approved grades
• master the Swedish language in both speech and writing, and have good reading comprehension
• have good computer skills
• have previous experience of working in healthcare
• have previously held various delegations
• can establish implementation plans and document

Strongly meritorious is:

• if you have previous experience working with BPSD and Senior Alert
• if you have previous experience with the Lifecare documentation system

To be employed with the title care assistant, you need to be able to present the protected professional title certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

About the Workplace

Solhällan is a care and nursing home located in the southern part of Eslöv, about a 20-minute walk from the station. Here, clients live in their own apartments distributed across four departments with 12 clients in each department. The residence is staffed around the clock and has a close collaboration with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists.

At Solhällan, the staff works individually tailored to the client's needs. The care and support provided are characterized by good ethics with the goal that clients retain their ability to perform tasks independently.
