The Ystad Health Center is a well-functioning health center located in central Ystad. Here, there are very good communication opportunities by both car and public transport. We have a broad competence in health and medical care where we meet the patient's needs in several different areas. Furthermore, we actively work with preventive care to strengthen the healthy and encourage patients to take responsibility for their lifestyle habits and health.

About 70 employees work at the health center, all striving to provide the best care to our patients. We offer complete primary care where nurses, district nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nursing assistants, dietitians, social workers, and psychologists collaborate with the patient at the center. The health center also has several training positions within various professional categories. Many employees have worked here for several years, while we also have a number of newer employees. This mix is a good and creative combination of experience and innovation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a new nursing colleague with a genuine interest in primary care patients. With us, you will meet patients of all ages with complex and exciting care processes as well as patients with simpler symptoms. Our goal is to start from the patient's needs, where care is tailored individually and characterized by professional treatment. We offer you a varied job with opportunities for development.

As a nurse in our elderly care/memory clinic, you will work with memory investigations, provide advice and support regarding medication, dietary habits, and more. In addition to your own clinic work, you will also work with telephone advice, 1177-direct, 1177-e-services, and other tasks that may arise for a nurse.

The nursing role with us is a central role, and you will work together with all professional groups. We will start a nursing triage to enable booking patients for assessments with a nurse. This allows for more personal contact with patients.

As a new employee, we offer a good introduction, including supervision for one hour a week with a designated supervisor at the health center. There are good opportunities to develop in your professional role.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with permission to practice in Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are a requirement. You who apply also have further education in elderly care. Previous experience as a nurse in primary care is meritorious, as is experience in conducting memory investigations.

The person we are looking for is confident and flexible in their professional role and comfortable working both independently and together with colleagues from different professional categories. You work to ensure that all our patients receive a good reception and professional care. We are keen to find the right person, so great importance will be placed on personal suitability and previous experiences. We view previous experiences from primary care positively.
