The Social Administration, which is one of four administrations in the municipality, has embarked on a major transformation journey. We are examining both our organization, work culture, and structure to provide the best possible service to our citizens. Approximately 150 residents receive support daily within the special accommodations. A job in Lomma Municipality is part of a whole, and together we will develop the operations. We offer a challenging and varied assignment in a role that is of great importance to our elderly citizens.

Orion has 3 departments with 36 resident places. During night shifts at Orion, various planned resident interventions and other operational tasks are performed according to the expectations document for night workers, as well as responding to safety, movement, and deviation alarms throughout the shift.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to be part of our workgroup at Orion's special accommodation, where you will work with our residents who have special care and support needs. With us, engagement, professional treatment, and structured working methods drive our operations forward. Laughter is close to our hearts. We are not afraid to try new methods or take action and responsibility when we see shortcomings in the operations, colleagues, or ourselves.

You will have close collaboration with colleagues on day and evening shifts, as well as with coordinators, elderly pedagogues, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and unit managers.

In the role of night care assistant, your responsibilities include providing care to residents, ongoing supervision, creating safety, following action plans, and breaking the night fast based on the individual needs and wishes of the residents. The work requires medical care work after delegation from a nurse. Responsibilities also include documentation in the journal system, washing residents' and the facility's laundry, and various cleaning tasks in common areas.

You are expected to have a good overview of the department so that the spaces are clean and look professional. If you are also creative and want to set up holiday decorations, this is highly appreciated.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained care assistant with a protected title from the National Board of Health and Welfare. This is a requirement. We seek someone who is willing and has experience in receiving delegation for various health and medical tasks (medication administration, insulin, etc.).

You are quality- and service-oriented and have experience handling medical technical equipment. You take responsibility and can see the operation as a whole, have an easy time collaborating, are flexible, and have an open mind. In your work, you are positive, engaged, and unpretentious. You feel comfortable working alone in a department and want to help colleagues across boundaries when needed, and you are used to collaborating with other professionals and relatives.

If you also have a good sense of humor and enjoy trying new paths, you are the one we are looking for. Experience in elderly care is a requirement.

You should have the ability to express yourself well in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. You have good computer skills and experience working with digital tools such as Life Care and APPVA in your daily work. We work with national quality registers such as BPSD and Senior Alert and would like you to have knowledge and experience with these. If you are also an administrator in any of the quality registers, it is a merit.
