The Mission of the Social Administration

The mission of the Social Administration is to work with social services and provide support so that everyone in the municipality feels safe and has the same opportunities in life. We want everyone to be able to be active and participate in society. With a focus on respect for the individual's right to decide over their own life, we are responsible for three important areas: care and support, assistance for people with disabilities, and help for individuals and families. The Workplace

The Night Patrol in Trelleborg has a varied work area. We work towards the goals that customers should experience safety, comfort, and high quality in their lives and housing. It is important for us that the customer feels they can influence the help they receive from us and need. Promoting collaboration in planning together with both customers and their relatives is of great importance.

For the Night Patrol, Trelleborg is divided into three areas: East, West, and the countryside. The Night Patrol operates from Landsvägen 2197 Anderslöv.

Job Responsibilities

Planned interventions and emergency alarms guide the work of the night. The work is performed in the customer's own home. It involves various care measures such as personal hygiene, toilet visits, transfers to and from bed, etc. Delegated healthcare tasks are performed.

In Trelleborg Municipality, we use the digital planning system LMO. Many of our customers have emergency alarms that the Night Patrol responds to and goes out on based on SOS alarm central. Collaboration during the night occurs with on-duty nurses in the municipality and primary care.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a care assistant education and experience working as a care assistant. A driving license for a manual transmission vehicle is required. You have a pleasant demeanor, are service-oriented, and attentive to meet customers' needs. It is important to enjoy working both independently and in a team, and to have a good ability to assess and handle varied situations. Many of the tasks require independence and the ability to prioritize. You should easily see opportunities and solutions to problems, be flexible, development-oriented, and have an easy time collaborating with colleagues and others in the interdisciplinary team. You take responsibility and put the customer at the center.

It is advantageous if you have experience with delegated tasks such as insulin, medication, and rehabilitative tasks. Great emphasis will be placed on education, personal suitability, and experience.

Working Hours

Working hours are approximately from 10:30 PM to 7:30 AM. Weekend work may occur. Full-time corresponds to 34 hours and 20 minutes per week.
