We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference and contribute to community development through sustainable water supply in Tidaholm municipality.

About the position

As an engineer/designer within water and sewage, you will work with investigations, design, planning, and development of water and sewage operations. You will be an important part of both maintenance projects and new construction projects. You will be involved from the idea stage to the completed facility and have the opportunity to showcase various solutions that influence strategic decisions for future infrastructure.

We work together within both pipeline networks, treatment plants, and waterworks as we believe it is a winning concept.

Your responsibilities

  • Design for water and sewage in AutoCAD/Novapoint/Civil3D.
  • Produce drawings, technical descriptions, and quantity calculations.
  • Participate in planning and implementation of water and sewage projects, from idea to completed facility.
  • Act as a water and sewage expert in detailed planning work, investigations, and strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with the department's staff in the field as well as in an office environment.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and authorities.
  • Ensure that projects comply with applicable laws, standards, and environmental requirements.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Relevant engineering degree in water and sewage or road and water construction.
  • Good knowledge of AMA, PBL, and water and sewage standards.
  • Experience in design in a CAD environment.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing, as well as a B driver's license.

Meritorious:

  • Knowledge of hydraulic calculations and GIS.
  • Experience from municipal water and sewage operations or consulting work.
  • Experience in measurement work with drones and GNSS.
