What do we offer?
The production at the Torslanda plant is divided into three areas: body, paint, and assembly. We are currently making significant investments in the Assembly Plant, which is being renovated in sections that will be put into operation continuously over the coming years. This creates an interesting and exciting workplace with significant technological leaps that require skilled and engaged Maintenance Technicians. Therefore, we are now looking for Maintenance Technicians in areas such as Electrical, automation, and PLC, etc.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will work to ensure the technical operational reliability of production equipment through the execution of corrective and preventive maintenance. The role also includes investigative assignments regarding technical disturbances as well as carrying out modifications and improvements in production equipment. The work is carried out in close collaboration with production and in several networks with various organizations and suppliers.
The highly automated production equipment in the assembly plant consists of PLC systems, robots, transport systems, pullers, and product-adapted mechanics. Since the system integration is high, you as a Maintenance Technician will work with many different types of production equipment. The assembly maintenance department consists of around 100 people divided into different roles and shifts, where Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the plant. Engineers, planning departments, and operations monitoring also work here. All these roles collaborate in various forums and teams to drive development and results forward.
You and your skills
We want you to have a high school education focused on industrial automation/Electrical control and theoretical electrical competence (equivalent to general authorization). You also have practical experience from maintenance work within electrical/IT, industrial automation, and/or workshop work. The job requires a B driver's license, good knowledge of English, and good PC skills in both software and hardware areas. If you have knowledge/experience in PLC and robot programming as well as the maintenance system Maximo, we consider this an advantage. Knowledge of production and maintenance processes as well as VCMS is also highly valued. The position is scheduled for 4 shifts.
You as a person
You as a person enjoy working result-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement, and your way of working involves people and functions for collaboration in a way that helps build trust. You take great responsibility for your own development by being curious and constantly wanting to learn new things. The work is event-driven and places high demands on flexibility, so for you to thrive in the role, it is necessary that you are open to change and used to prioritizing. You are quality-conscious and work in a structured manner, with a focus on safety.
