Do you want to be involved in developing and maintaining Sweden's rail infrastructure?

We are now looking for experienced track technicians for our client operating in Gothenburg and Västra Götaland. Here you will work in an industry with high demand and great significance for society.

Job Responsibilities

As a track technician, you will work with the construction, maintenance, and repair of railway and tramway facilities. Your tasks may include:

• Maintenance of rails, sleepers, switches, and track components
• Adjustment of track geometry and ballast work
• Participation in new construction and reconstruction of tracks
• Ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with applicable safety regulations
• Documentation of completed work and reporting to management

The work is done in teams and can be during the day, night, and weekends depending on the project. Travel within Västra Götaland may occur.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Experience working in a track environment as a track technician or equivalent
• Track technical education or documented practice/experience
• Good understanding of safety regulations and work environment requirements
• Driving license B

Meritorious:

• BASÄVISTA, SoS leader, or other track safety training
• Welding skills (thermite, arc welding, or other)
• Experience with machines and tools within the track
• Hot work certificate
