We are looking for a dental nurse passionate about emergency dental care and development!

Close to the train station and the sea, in the modern Tullhuset by Gavleån, you will find our emergency clinic - a place where professional dental care meets warmth and security. Here we offer emergency dental care for adults suffering from toothache, infections, or injuries that cannot wait. Our goal is also to develop the business and be able to accept new patients as well as finalize treatment for patients who have come to us for their acute issues.

Since our opening in the autumn of 2021, we have been a small team handling a high volume of patients with urgent needs, where each day offers challenges and lessons. We work in five modern treatment rooms and collaborate closely with other general dental clinics and specialist dental care. This gives us the opportunity to develop new working methods and constantly improve the quality of care.

Our ambition is to develop and explore digital patient visits and assessments to quickly guide patients, reduce unnecessary visits, and free up resources for the most urgent cases. Our goal is to combine new technology with human warmth and create a more accessible, safe, and future-proof dental care.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a dental nurse with us, you play an important role in a fast-paced and varied care flow. Your main responsibilities are:

• Assist dentists in emergency treatments, such as pain relief, extractions, trauma, and infections.
• Be responsible for instrument handling and preparation of treatment rooms for quick patient transitions.
• Receive patients, provide information, and create security in stressful situations.

Both reception and patient work are included in the position. In your work, you provide a professional approach to our patients, both in the reception and treatment room. Furthermore, you have a desire to develop based on your own abilities and interests.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is a trained dental nurse and thrives in a varied and fast-paced work environment where no day is the same. You have an approved dental nurse education and a genuine interest in emergency dental care and meeting patients in vulnerable situations.

You have the ability to work in a structured and solution-focused manner. Good communication skills and a professional approach towards both patients and colleagues are something we expect.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
