The IT department consists of about 50 dedicated employees, organized into three units.

Together, we are responsible for the municipality's shared IT infrastructure and deliver IT services to the entire organization.

We work both to provide daily support, maintain and further develop our services – while being a strategic partner in the municipality's business development, where digitalization is an important tool. We deliver our IT services with the support of agile working methods.

We are now looking for an experienced and driven solution architect for our IT Project Office unit. Responsibilities

As a solution architect with us, you will play a key role in translating the business needs into sustainable technical solutions. You will work closely with both the business and the various teams within the IT department to ensure that our systems are robust, scalable, and user-friendly.

You will:

• Design and document solution architecture for new and existing systems
• Participate in projects and initiatives from idea to implementation
• Ensure that solutions comply with the municipality's IT strategy, security requirements, and architectural principles
• Provide advisory support in technical matters and contribute to skill development within the organization
• Be part of the “Architecture and Testing Management” team as one of several architects and test leaders

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience working as a solution architect or in a similar role
• Good understanding of integration solutions, cloud services, and modern architectural patterns
• Ability to communicate technical solutions in an educational manner to different target groups
• Relevant academic education in IT or equivalent experience
• Good communication skills, proficiency in expressing yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing.

Meritorious:

• Knowledge of information security and data protection (GDPR)
• Experience working with frameworks such as the Architecture Community, TOGAF, ArchiMate, SAFe, Scrum, ITIL
• Experience with modeling tools, preferably Sparx Enterprise Architect
• Experience with public procurement
• Experience with agile working methods
• Experience with change management
