Job Responsibilities

Dalsätra is a special accommodation with 20 apartments located in Myrviken, close to nature and within walking distance to shops and bus stops. A special accommodation is a form of housing for elderly people who have a comprehensive need for care and assistance around the clock and can no longer stay in their own home. Care staff are available at the accommodations in the municipality around the clock, with a rehabilitative approach to everyday life. The work should be characterized by a holistic view, respect, and commitment.

As a nursing assistant with us at Dalsätra, you will be part of a competent workgroup consisting of care assistants and nursing assistants. You will work to provide care and social support to our residents and users who need help to manage their daily lives. Our work is based on the individual's needs and wishes, where dialogue and collaboration are important tools to achieve high-quality care and support. By working with us, you contribute to creating an environment for the individual that is characterized by community, companionship, participation, and activity.

Your tasks include helping people with, for example: hygiene, dressing, and cleaning, as well as supporting during meals. Tasks delegated by licensed health and medical personnel may also occur. Collaboration is a very important part of your workday, and you will work together with your closest colleagues and health and medical personnel for the individual. Your tasks also include documentation and contact with relatives.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant and has previous experience in elderly care and/or healthcare. Communication and documentation are important tools in the work, which requires that you have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Bergs Municipality is a Sámi administrative municipality, and we therefore consider it an advantage if you have knowledge of the South Sámi language and culture.

Personal Qualities

To fit in the role of nursing assistant with us, you need to be good at communicating and have a constructive and empathetic approach. Furthermore, we would like you to be engaged and involved in developing our operations. You are good at collaborating, are creative, and take the initiative for activities for the residents.
