As a nurse in the team, you are responsible for the overall psychiatric care of the patient. You plan and coordinate nursing work based on a patient-centered approach where the patient's needs are the starting point and where relatives and close ones are involved.

The work is independent, and you have the opportunity to plan your day. You work in close collaboration with both inpatient care and outpatient care in interdisciplinary teams with doctors, psychologists, nursing assistants, social workers, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists, which enables experience exchange and support among colleagues.

Words from a colleague:

“I really enjoy my work as a nurse in our outpatient unit. Here, I can make an impact and make a difference for people who need support and help. I have colleagues who support and care, and I don’t have to make tough decisions alone. Even though some days can be heavy, there is room for laughter and community.”
