In addition to care, our family in the Support and Care Department consists of LSS, the nutrition unit, Labor Market and Integration (AMI), and Individual and Family Care (IFO).

At Nyviksvägen Special Housing (Säbo), we work together to create a meaningful everyday life for our residents. We have 40 modern apartments distributed over four departments in a two-story building that was built in 2014. In addition to two large furnished balconies, our residents have access to a beautiful winter garden that is directly connected to each department. Our team consists of nursing staff, nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, administrators, and unit managers. Social interaction and activities are something we focus on to increase community and joy between both residents and staff, where activities and socializing characterize our way of working.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a care assistant, you perform personal care, service, and support by motivating and stimulating according to the individual’s needs and conditions. The job includes both medical and rehabilitative interventions performed under the delegation of licensed personnel. In this work, it is important that you have the ability to see each person's needs, are meticulous, and take responsibility. You enjoy working with elderly people, have a high level of empathy, are attentive, have a good attitude, and strong collaboration skills. We work to create social content in everyday life and a meaningful existence. Contact with relatives is an important part of our work, and we value good relationships.

You are part of a work team in your unit but are flexible enough to support colleagues in other units. Working hours are varied with shifts according to a schedule, day, evening, and weekend. Ragunda Municipality applies flexible working hours using the scheduling tool Multi Access.

We are looking for three permanent care assistants for our residence.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a care assistant education.

In our work with our citizens, a dignified approach and a warm interest in working with people are very important. You should have a positive outlook, good collaboration skills, and be responsible. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

It is a requirement that you can understand and make yourself understood in Swedish so that you can communicate with residents, relatives, and staff. It is also important that you are computer literate and can express yourself well in writing in Swedish as documentation is an important part of the job.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Experience from previous work in special housing.
• Worked with BPSD for users with dementia.
• Experience as a hygiene representative.
• Worked with contact person responsibility.
• Had medication delegation.
