IT Property Coordinator at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service

RESPONSIBILITIES

As an IT Property Coordinator, you will work as a sub-project manager for IT in the authority's property projects. The position is based in Örebro, but you will work together with the core operations of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service and the head office in Norrköping. Travel throughout Sweden is common in this role, as you will be on-site during the startup, ongoing project meetings, and final installations.

As an IT Property Coordinator, you will gather needs, ensure deliveries, and assist in requirement work. The role includes identifying the property projects' needs for IT infrastructure and being the local project manager's contact person regarding IT-related issues. You will have ongoing contact and coordinate with internal and external suppliers to ensure the property projects' IT infrastructure deliveries. You will maintain ongoing dialogue with the Swedish Prison and Probation Service's operations and keep a good knowledge of the core operations' needs and risks in the property projects. Furthermore, you will make operational decisions to ensure promised deliveries. We are looking for someone who has:

• Complete upper secondary education in the form of a diploma or secondary school certificate, or other education combined with experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems relevant
• Experience working in similar roles as an IT Property Coordinator
• Experience in managing and leading assignments
• Experience working with IT infrastructure, for example as an IT technician, support technician, or service technician
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of IT infrastructure
• Ability to express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish
• Driving license B

It is meritorious if you have:

• Education in project management
• Education in IT infrastructure
• Experience in construction projects
• Experience working with and managing IT suppliers
• Experience working within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service
• Experience working with architectural drawings
