Make a Difference. Every Day

Are you looking for a stimulating and meaningful job where the patient is always at the center? Do you want to be part of a team built on collaboration and commitment? Then this might be the position for you!

Dialysis is an exciting field in constant development, where the interplay between medical technology and nursing plays a significant role. We have a planned operation where chronically ill kidney patients come two to four times a week for their hemodialysis treatment. Additionally, we provide emergency dialysis in both ICU and HIA as needed.

Most of our patients are recurring and over a long period, which means we create long-lasting relationships focused on helping them achieve the best possible quality of life. This is done by tailoring the dialysis treatment to the individual's needs and means that we are increasingly working towards patient-centered care where patients are involved in their own treatment.

We constantly strive to improve our operations together with our employees and therefore gladly allocate time and space for individual development. We are also open to suggestions from our employees regarding suitable measures for competence development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of nurse, you will lead and be responsible for your patients' dialysis treatment. The tasks also include nursing, medical care, and teaching/advising the patient. You have a special nursing responsibility for certain dialysis patients regarding their long-term planning and treatment in consultation with our doctors. The work includes handling medical technical equipment, so it is beneficial if you have a certain technical interest.

The department includes a range of different professional categories such as nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, medical secretaries, dietitians, physiotherapists, patient supporters, and social workers, where we all work together based on our respective competencies for the patient's best.

You will receive an individual introduction of at least eight weeks for handling the dialysis machine and caring for dialysis patients. In addition, there are many different areas of responsibility with opportunities for deepening and, if necessary, courses/training.

Evening and weekend shifts may occur.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. The position requires that you have language skills in Swedish corresponding to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale. If you have previous knowledge and/or experience of dialysis, we see this as an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have several years of experience working as a nurse.

We see that you who are applying are positive and collaborative. You have a good ability to adapt to changing circumstances. Furthermore, you have a focus on the operation and want to help drive our work forward. We believe that you are curious, responsible, and like to keep updated on developments within our field of work. Of course, you work according to Region Skåne's values. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

In this recruitment, we apply continuous selection. We warmly welcome your application today! We look forward to getting to know you.
