Your Mission

Do you want to become one of the key persons in the students' development while working closely with both colleagues and the student health team? We are looking for you who are a special educator and want to contribute to strengthening both the students' learning and the quality of teaching.

You will work with investigations of special support, mapping, teaching, and follow-up – both individually, in groups, and together with teaching staff. The role also includes being part of the school's student health team and special educational team. In the special educational team, you will work together with two special educators and one special pedagogue.

Requirements for the Position

• Special educator degree or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent
• Good knowledge of the school's governing documents and experience working based on these
• Experience teaching and working with students in need of special support
• Ability to collaborate and contribute in teams, student health teams, and special educational teams
• Good communication skills in speech and writing in Swedish

Meritorious:

• Experience working as a special educator in a 7–9 school
• Experience mentoring and supporting colleagues in pedagogical work
• Knowledge of and experience working with evidence-based school models for preventive and health-promoting work (e.g., PALS)

To obtain employment, a certificate from the police's criminal record must be presented.
