Dedicated Teacher for Grades F-3 Wanted

About the Position

We are seeking a teacher for grades F-3 to join our Munin team, which consists of four classes: a preschool class, grade 1, grade 2, and grade 3 + after-school care. In this position, you will be the class teacher for grade 2, but you may also be required to teach in other grades within F-3 as needed. We hope you are passionate about literacy and numeracy learning and SKUA. As a teacher with us, your instruction will be based on planning, implementation, assessment, and development. You will join a committed and development-oriented team that works for the growth and well-being of all students. You will adhere to the requirements of the governing documents regarding planning, implementation, follow-up, and development.

Examples of Responsibilities:

• Teaching in grade 2 in most subjects, excluding physical education, music, and art
• Providing mentorship/performing class leader tasks in grade 2
• Supporting students' social development
• Creating a positive learning environment
• Working and documenting in the existing operational systems
• Collaborating with other teachers at the school and staff in after-school care

About the Workplace

Odenskolan is a F-9 school located in Odensbacken. Currently, about 300 students study at the school, from preschool to grade 9. Odensbacken is approximately 25 km from Örebro, with good bus connections.

Qualifications

As a teacher, it is important that you have good collaboration skills, where you listen and communicate, and contribute to a calm and safe school environment. You should also have knowledge of children's development and learning, as well as the ability to adapt instruction based on the group and individual students' needs and circumstances. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Requirements:

• Teaching certification with authorization to teach in grades F-3, or an equivalent qualifying degree that grants eligibility for certification

Desirable:

• Experience in literacy and numeracy learning
