About the Position

As a preschool teacher with us at Mejeriet Preschool, you will be part of a friendly and dedicated team. We have good collaboration between departments, where much of our fundamental consensus is based on our common deepening sessions that we have every week. In our systematic quality work, we work process-oriented based on a common annual wheel, where children's learning and educators' attitudes are an important foundation of our operations. About the Workplace

Mejeriet Preschool is relatively newly built and started in September 2018, located at the bottom of an apartment building at the newly built Mejeritorget in the north, right by Svampen. At Mejeriet, there are four departments: yellow, blue, green, and red. Today, we have two departments with younger children and two departments with older children. We have a large yard and are close to parks and forests. Both preschool teachers and childcare workers work in the departments, and there is also Finnish-speaking competence in the operation.

We have a kitchen where our chef prepares all meals from scratch. The food is made from organic and locally grown products as much as possible and is served in our common dining room.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is secure and stable in their role and has a good understanding of how other people absorb knowledge based on different conditions. You take responsibility for and are active in teaching and the pedagogical development at the preschool. Inspiring children and capturing their interests and building on that in your teaching is something you consider natural. It is important that you can handle the changes that occur daily and broadly at the preschool through good collaboration with children, colleagues, and guardians, as well as through an organized approach.

Furthermore, you master the Swedish language in a way that allows you to communicate with children, relatives, and other staff, as well as document what the operation requires in writing. Since the work involves digital documentation, good computer skills are also required.

Requirements

• licensed preschool teacher, or alternatively hold a qualification-giving degree that entitles you to a license

Meritorious

• experience working as a preschool teacher
• education in or experience with Guiding Interaction (ICDP)
• experience with systematic quality work
• experience with project-oriented working methods
