Järnboås School, a F-6 school in Nora municipality with approximately 65 students, is now looking for a teacher. The teaching is conducted in B-form, meaning more than one grade per class. The school is located a few miles outside of Nora and is a classic village school in the countryside. Järnboås School is part of the principal area 4 together with Ås School.

You will work alongside ambitious, competent, creative, and development-oriented colleagues and be met by happy, friendly, and motivated students in a fine school.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In collaboration with the school's work team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching based on current governing documents. You will plan tasks and document students' knowledge development in the municipality's digital system. You will take an active role in creating good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. Together with your colleagues, student health, and school management, you will work on school development that promotes the development of Järnboås School. In principal area 4, which Järnboås School belongs to, we see good collaboration culture as important. We welcome applicants with qualifications in mathematics and science, preferably in combination with additional subjects.

QUALIFICATIONS

The requirement for the position is a teaching license, preferably with teaching qualifications for grades 1-6 in the subjects of Math/Science. We consider it an advantage if you have qualifications in more subjects and knowledge of the educational platform Schoolsoft. We are looking for someone who is secure and stable and has an easy time connecting with students and guardians. As a teacher, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and contribute to a calm and safe school environment. A prerequisite for succeeding in the role is that you have knowledge of children's development and learning, as well as the ability to adapt teaching based on the group's and individual students' needs and conditions.
