Theranostics Trial Center (TTC) is now looking for a research nurse interested in working with clinical drug studies!

Theranostics Trial Center (TTC) is Sweden's first center focused on clinical trials with radioactive drugs used for diagnostics and treatment.

We are now looking for an engaged research nurse who wants to work at the forefront of clinical research and contribute to the development of new, innovative treatment methods for cancer and other serious diseases.

You will be part of a highly specialized and multidisciplinary team with expertise in radiopharmacy, dosimetry, nuclear medicine, and oncology. Together, we are driven by a strong patient focus, scientific curiosity, and a shared ambition to make a real difference.

About the position

Theranostics Trial Center belongs to the Medical Unit (ME) of Nuclear Medicine and Hospital Physics. We are responsible for the production of radioactive drugs, nuclear medicine imaging diagnostics with PET/SPECT/CT/MR, radionuclide treatments, as well as responsibility for medical radiation physics and contribute to radiation safety work at Karolinska University Hospital.

The operations are conducted both in Huddinge and Solna. For our studies, we have access to one of Europe’s most modern radiopharmacy facilities for the development of new radiopharmaceuticals, the unit's 10 hybrid equipment; 5 PET/CT, 4 SPECT/CT, and one PET/MR; as well as radionuclide treatment rooms.

As a research nurse at TTC, you will be a key person in our work with clinical trials of radioactive drugs, which are mainly used to image and treat cancer patients.

You will, among other things:

  • Coordinate and conduct clinical trials
  • Collaborate with researchers, doctors, and other healthcare professionals within national and international studies
  • Participate in planning, documentation, and follow-up of studies
  • Contribute to building and maintaining long-term relationships within and outside the hospital

We are looking for you who

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or radiology nurse with:

  • experience in clinical trials within nuclear medicine and/or oncology
  • good knowledge of GCP and research ethical guidelines
  • structured and independent as well as good collaboration skills
  • an interest in clinical research. It is also important that you are driven, responsible, and have a clear patient focus, as well as a desire to learn new things.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Licensed nurse or radiology nurse
  • Fluent in spoken and written Swedish

Meritorious:

  • Previous work in oncology, radiology, or nuclear medicine
  • Previous work with clinical trials or experience as a research nurse.
  • Previous experience with clinical trials involving radioactive drugs
  • Good command of English
  • Familiarity with RIS/PACS systems
