About us:

Råsunda Health Center has approximately 9,000 registered patients. The health center is located in the cozy Råsunda area, close to Solna Center, subway, commuter train, and light rail. We have a relatively large proportion of elderly patients who have lived in Råsunda for many years, as well as a younger, newly moved, and often well-educated population. We have a well-functioning home care team.

We strive to work in teams with doctors, district nurses, nurses, nursing assistants, psychologists, social workers, and administrative staff to create good continuity for our patients. We work with TeleQ, chat in Always Open, and the TakeCare journal system. Råsunda Health Center is part of primary care in the Stockholm County Healthcare Area (SLSO). Job Responsibilities

The work will primarily be in home care, but outpatient work may occur as needed. The job involves all tasks associated with being a district nurse/nurse at the health center and in home care. The work requires broad competence, planning ability, and independence.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:
Licensed nurse

Desirable:
Specialist training in diabetes care or district nurse with prescribing rights
Experience working in home care, primary care is an advantage
Good computer skills and experience with the TakeCare, Lifecare, and TeleQ journal systems are advantageous
Driver's license (B).

Employment Type:

Permanent position. Full-time 100%, 40 hours/week. Working hours Monday-Friday. A probationary period may apply. Start date by agreement.

For patient-related work within the Stockholm County Healthcare Area:

  • Background checks will be applied before hiring decisions according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for background checks during employment.
  • Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a pre-employment medical examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health care before employment.
  • In addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
