Norrtälje Norra Healthcare Center is growing and is looking for a ST doctor in general medicine.

About the Position

We are looking for a licensed physician who wants to continue their career through a ST in general medicine. The position is full-time and begins with work at the healthcare center during the first year, followed by placements at various healthcare units in accordance with the ST training, until you become a certified specialist in general medicine. The ST position is tailored individually with a clear educational plan, regular supervision, and good opportunities for professional development.

Continuing education is an obvious part of our operations and takes place on a scheduled basis once a month. As a ST doctor with us, you will also have the opportunity to help develop the future of healthcare. We combine proven methods with new digital solutions and ideas, always with the patient's needs at the center.

There is the possibility of remote work based on the conditions of the operation. Documentation is done in Take Care. Start date by agreement.

Your Responsibilities Include:

• Continuing education throughout the ST period with courses, lectures, and group meetings.
• Consultation work at the healthcare center, which includes annual check-ups, investigations, minor surgical procedures, gynecology, eye and ear diseases, and much more.
• Work at our drop-in clinic for minor acute conditions.
• Teamwork with nursing assistants and nurses.
• Ongoing quality work.
• Supervision of students and AT doctors.

About You

For this position, you need to:

• Have a Swedish medical license.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

It is an advantage if you also have:

• Previous experience working in primary care.
• Experience with the Take Care journal system.

About Us

Norrtälje Norra Healthcare Center is Norrtälje's largest healthcare center with about 17,500 registered patients and around 40 employees. The medical team, consisting of 16 doctors, both ST doctors and general specialists, is stable and experienced as many have stayed with us for many years. The healthcare center is located in historic premises at the old hospital, with proximity to good communications and the city center.

In addition to planned consultation work, we also offer a drop-in clinic for minor acute issues, which is appreciated by both patients and staff. The operation is broad and well-developed with, among other things, asthma/COPD clinics, diabetes clinics, wound clinics, and geriatric clinics.

We work in teams and have regular rehabilitation rounds together with our psychosocial team and rehabilitation coordinator. Education is a natural part of our daily routine, and we continuously receive students from all professional categories.
