NiCa Teamet AB operates a sheltered accommodation for women and children affected by violence.
Your role:
As a contact person for children and young people at our sheltered accommodation, you will have the primary responsibility for ensuring that the children's needs are met in accordance with the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Your tasks will be varied and will include, among other things, the following:
- Primary responsibility for children and young people placed in the sheltered accommodation
- Conduct conversations with children up to 18 years old
- Conduct parent support conversations
- Document according to the Social Services Act, i.e. record keeping, create implementation plans, perform interventions, and follow up on these
- Practical tasks such as assisting with moving, cleaning, shopping, laundry, etc.
- Support other staff members where needed
- Participate in collaboration with partners
Qualifications:
Working at NiCa Team's sheltered accommodation requires flexibility and responsiveness. The tasks are varied, and urgent situations may arise. We are looking for someone who:
- Is a social worker, behavioral scientist, or has another higher education deemed equivalent
- Has at least two years of work experience in social work
- Enjoys working both independently and collaboratively in a team
- Has a low-arousal approach
- Has the physical ability to engage in heavier tasks that may need to be done in the accommodation
It is an advantage if you have previously worked in a sheltered accommodation and have experience conversing with children. A plus is if you have training in Trappan or similar. Having a B driver's license is an advantage.
We who work at the sheltered accommodation have confidentiality obligations according to the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act and the Social Services Act, and we have a duty to report. We will request extracts from the suspicion and criminal records.
It is required that you have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Working hours:
The working hours are scheduled during the day. The employment also includes on-call duty one weekend a month where you are responsible for the on-call phone. The on-call duty is distributed among the staff and is in addition to the working hours.
Permanent employment begins with a probationary period of 6 months.
Start date: By agreement.
Employment rate: 75%.
Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled during the application period.
