NiCa Teamet AB operates a sheltered accommodation for women and children who have been subjected to violence.

Your role:

As a temporary staff member in our sheltered accommodation, we are looking for someone who can step in at short notice during periods of high occupancy. Your tasks will be varied, but will include the following:

• Support women and children placed in the sheltered accommodation
• Practical tasks such as assisting with moving, cleaning, shopping, laundry, etc.
• Support other staff members where needed
• Carry out activities with women and children who are placed

Qualifications:

Working at NiCa Teamet’s sheltered accommodation requires flexibility and responsiveness. The tasks are varied and urgent situations may arise. We are looking for someone who:

• may be studying to become a social worker or behavioral scientist
• alternatively is a social pedagogue/care assistant with at least two years of post-secondary education
• Enjoys working both independently and collaboratively in a team
• Has a low-arousal approach
• Has the physical ability to engage in heavier tasks that may need to be done in the accommodation

It is an advantage if you have previously worked in a sheltered accommodation and have a B driver's license.

We who work at the sheltered accommodation are bound by confidentiality according to the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act and the Social Services Act, and we have a duty to report. We will request extracts from the suspicion and criminal records.

It is required that you have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

Working hours:

Working hours may vary but are mainly scheduled during the day. Evening and weekend work may occur.

Start date: By agreement.

Employment rate: As needed

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis.
