Do you want to work with IT and information security in complex and technically advanced systems where security is business-critical? We are now looking for an IT Security Officer who wants to help ensure that defense-related IT systems meet high standards for information security, IT security, and signal protection.

As an IT Security Officer, you will be responsible for driving and following up on IT security issues throughout the system's lifecycle. You will act as the IT security responsible towards the customer within projects and actively participate in the accreditation and approval processes for IT systems. In this role, you will work closely with both project teams and customers, and you will be a key person in ensuring that systems and information management comply with applicable legislation, regulations, and internal governing documents. You will be responsible for helping to identify, analyze, and reduce security risks, ensuring traceability and proper documentation of security decisions, and reporting deviations and security incidents according to established procedures.

Main responsibilities:

• Take on the role of IT security responsible towards the customer within projects
• Handle and follow up on IT and information security matters
• Participate in requirements specification, review, and approval of IT systems from an IT security perspective
• Ensure compliance with established regulations and governing documents
• Participate in accreditation and approval processes for IT systems
• Handle IT and information security incidents and propose measures
• Establish and manage documentation related to accreditation processes
• Collaborate with the customer's IT security officer

• Has a technical post-secondary education, for example in computer engineering, cybersecurity, or equivalent
• Has at least 2 years of experience working with similar tasks
• Has fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious:

• Experience working with defense systems or security-sensitive operations
• Experience working within or towards FMV
• Knowledge of FMV's ISD process and accreditation of IT systems
• Understanding of cryptosystems and signal protection

This is a consulting assignment, which means that initially you will be employed by Friday. The ambition from both the client and our side is that you will eventually be directly employed by the client.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions with security clearance requirements, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
