About the Hotel

Scandic Visby is located with the best starting point to explore the medieval town or to drive out into the countryside. A lovely hotel with a resort feel, where the rooms are divided into different buildings. Our restaurant is open year-round where we serve breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening, with menus that are adapted according to the season. During the summer, we open our lovely outdoor terrace with a swimming pool, and for those who want to swim year-round, we offer the warm hot tub under the open sky.

What Does the Role of Chef Involve?

Here you will have a very important task at the hotel by ensuring a world-class guest experience when it comes to our food and beverage environments. Your main tasks are to plan, prepare, and cook food as well as present the dishes in an appealing way. You will also support and help the team in other parts of the hotel as needed.

Who Are You?

To fit into the role, you need to have a burning passion for food and be attentive to details and guests' individual needs. You appreciate order and cleanliness, both in your own work and in your colleagues' work. All to provide our guests with a fantastic dining experience. For this position, we want you to have completed chef training or have acquired equivalent skills in another way. Personal qualities and attitude are the most important for this recruitment. To fit into the role, you need to be a good team player who takes great responsibility for your tasks and the overall result. It is also important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel's guests.

Information About the Position:

The position is a seasonal employment at 100%. We have a long season, and it is an advantage if you can start in April/May and work until September/October.

We are open every day, and the position involves working shifts in the afternoon/evening. A rotating schedule where you work both weekdays and weekends.
