The position is located at the unit for food supply. Several employees in the unit work in various ways with public-private collaboration in different forms, often in cooperation with several relevant units within the agency. We lead the establishment of a new food security. We work with national coordination of crisis and preparedness planning for food supply, in the stages following primary production. We support municipalities, regions, and businesses in their work with food supply. Therefore, we work closely with the food industry through various projects, as well as through the public-private collaboration group within the food chain that the Swedish Food Agency is responsible for. The unit for food supply is one of five units in the department for food and drinking water supply. The department works to enhance capabilities within drinking water and food supply.

Your Role

As an employee with us, you will work nationally on the development of Sweden's food security, with a particular focus on public-private collaboration and project management. Providing expertise and support occurs both verbally and in writing.

You, together with your colleagues, take responsibility for the organization's common mission and resources as well as the needs of target groups. Furthermore, you make thoughtful priorities in your work and deliver according to set goals. You monitor the external environment to gather new perspectives, maintain relevant competence, and adapt your work to the organization's requirements and conditions. It is important that you stay updated and follow trends by engaging with, for example, research.

Familiarity with the conditions for private companies within the food chain and food security is also an advantage.

You should have very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Your Personal Qualities
